Obama: Woke Dems “Buzzkills”. New poll: Only 26% would re-elect Biden.

By Rubashov

Phil & Tammy Murphy, Rachel Apter, Sean Spiller, and the entire Democrat Party caucuses of both legislative chambers have just been called “buzzkills” by the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. The former President started criticizing Wokeism and cancel culture a couple years ago.

In 2019, he said: “I do get a sense sometimes now among certain young people... that the way of me making change is to be as judgmental as possible about other people and that's enough… That is not activism, that is not bringing about change. If all you're doing is casting stones, you are probably not going to get that far.”

Now, back on the campaign trail in advance of the midterm elections, the former President has again slammed his Woke compatriots…

President Obama goes after Woke Democrats who go "around scolding folks if they don't use exactly the right phrase" and who make "identity politics the principle lens through which we view our various political challenges."

Meanwhile, some devastating news for those supporters of President Joe Biden who would like to see him run for a second term. A new Rasmussen poll finds that only 26 percent of Likely U.S. voters think President Biden should run for re-election in 2024. 60 percent say Biden should not run. Another 14 percent are not sure.

43 percent of voters are confident Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States, including 26 percent who are Very Confident. 54 percent are not confident that Biden is up to the job, including 40 percent who are Not At All Confident in his ability. Rasmussen reports that those findings have changed only slightly since February.

If the next election were held today, just 40 percent of Likely U.S. Voters would vote to re-elect Biden, while 44 percent would vote for former President Donald Trump. Another 12 percent would choose some other candidate in a Biden-Trump rematch (Independent Tulsi Gabbard, perhaps?).

80 percent of Republican voters, 40 percent of Democrats and 61 percent of voters not affiliated with either major party say President Biden should not run for re-election in 2024. 44 percent of Democrats, 12 percent of Republicans and 21 percent of unaffiliated voters believe Biden should run again.

Rasmussen also reports that Republicans now have a 7-point lead in their bid to recapture control of Congress. Rasmussen notes that despite controversies over other issues, the economy remains the top concern for voters just weeks ahead of November’s midterm elections.
